Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Ploton platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Service description

Ploton provides AI agent infrastructure including task execution, tool orchestration, authentication management, and observability services. The Service is provided via a REST API and web dashboard.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to build a competing product

API usage and rate limits

API access is subject to rate limits as documented in our API reference. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access if usage patterns negatively impact platform stability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action.

Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the data and content you submit to the Service. Ploton retains all rights to the platform, its APIs, documentation, and all related intellectual property. Nothing in these terms grants either party rights to the other's trademarks or branding.

Billing and payment

Usage is billed per task execution as described on our pricing page. Failed tasks are not billed. Prepaid credit packs are valid for 12 months from purchase. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ploton shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice where practical. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow for export, after which it will be deleted.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
